Happy Pink Saturday

Good Morning,

Our weather is very chilly here in the mountains now, The winter season has begun and the snow is just around the corner which I do not look forward to. The only time I want to see it snow is Christmas Eve when we are all snuggled in and partying inside, Something magical about snow on Christmas Eve.
OK! on to the pink, I had another plan for today but it got derailed yesterday when we took a trip to a doctors appointment, which we go 100 miles from home and had a car wreck on our way home. A young lady of only 17 years old came from a parking lot and smashed into the right side of our Yukon. No injuries thank goodness but delayed our return home. She was so upset and all she could say was my parents will kill me, Remember this, We have all been there, either our self or with our children. So I will save my new post for next Saturday and just show you a few of my favorite things,

This one is a vintage kerosene heater, We have a very hard time finding these, Darrell takes all the insides out this and wires it for a lamp. I painted this one white and added a beautiful design of roses all the way around. It is awesome when lit as it cast a glow on the floor through the cut work. Watch the web site for the next one we will have.

This in one of my favorite pink santas that I use for decorating esch year. Will soon be time to start the holiday decorating.

And this one is a vintage silver dish that we have turned into a beautiful candle lamp .

Be sure you go by Beverly's blog and visit all the ladies who are joining us this week,
just click on the little pink lady on the left and she will transport you there.
Hope you have a wonderful week and come back real soon.
Stop by on Monday we nave some wonderful news about a new category we will be adding to the web site.
Hugs
Judy

What a wonderful time it is for anticipation of the holidays!

So sorry about the accident. How lucky no one was hurt. I feel for the poor girl - it seems like every kid has a little dinger just after getting their license. My son did! In a way, I guess it's a good lesson because they'll always be watching out for it - but not good for the people that get dinged!

I guess it was lucky she dinged nice people like you instead of someone mean.

Well, I am pretty sure I am needing one of those lamps made out of an old stove...Just PRECIOUS. Since I am more Pottery Barn type in decor, I could do one in black with my monogram on it....wouldn't that be so neat?
Great posting...sorry I am a week behind...I'm slow !!
love, bj
