Pink Saturday

I found this wonderful vintage ice bucket a couple weeks ago on ebay, It is silver plate and in near to excellent condition. I couldn't wait to paint on it and since I have been painting Hydrangeas, I decided to add this to the stash, I was so pleased with the way it turned out that I just had to share it with you. I painted it white and trimmed with a soft pink and very pale green. Painted the lovely hydrangea design all the way around. I absolutely love it and this one I will have to think about keeping . Would be a wonderful addition to the buffet at your next dinner party. This is the first one I have seen of this design. I love it when I come across something unusual.

Be sure you stop over to Bevs place and visit all the blogs we have joining us today.
Just click on the little pink lady on the left.
Darrell and I are off to Virginia this evening to an auction. sure hope I find some goodies. I'll let you know if I find anything great.
Hope you have a blessed week end.
Judy

How pretty. I hope to get to paint soon. Wish i could just watch you a bit. A cheese saver? I knew it was probably for something other than butter. I like it.
I've been out of pocket and am glad to get home and get to see some of these pinks.

Have a blessed Sunday.

Hi Judy,
sorry for the belated comment, but my laptop crashed this weekend so I'm trying to catch up for Pink Saturday.

I love your vintage ice bucket. So delicately painted and very feminine. Too precious!
