Almost back to normal
We took our granddaughters, Miranda and Madison back to Tennessee yesterday. We drove down and back the same day, about 4 hours each way. We had the two of them and a friend of Mirandas for a week, having a two year old around will really make you know just how old your are. Along with keeping up with her and Taking Miranda here and there to shop and to the movies we were busy all week. Miranda will be attending her 8th grade prom next month so we went shopping for a dress. Times sure have changed. Darrell and I love when they come to visit but takes us about two weeks to recuperate and get back to normal. I hope you have the joy of grandchildren, they are our jewels in life.

Busy Days
Sorry I haven't posted in a few days, Have been very busy, Went to Tennessee for Easter with our children and brought our two granddaughters home for a week so you can imagine how busy we are. The older we get the harder it is to keep up with a two year old but it is so much fun and exhausting. Going to Take the older one shopping tomorrow. She has her eighth grade dance in a few weeks so trying to find something to wear. Also arrived home to find a first cousin on mine had passed away with a heart attack. After the funeral we had a family dinner at our home. So sad that the only time some of us see each other is at a funeral.
As we all get older it makes our family time more valuable. Be sure you give your loved ones a hug and let them know how much you love them.

Oh Happy Day
Also heard from my doctor yesterday and everything is a go for lap band surgery. I have been going through this process for the last 7 months. Can't wait now for the final step. If you are going to or have had the same type of weight surgery let me know. Would love to hear how you have done with it. Mine should be in the first part of April.
