It is with so much sadness that I try to write this, My beautiful daughter Stacey passed away yesterday from complications of Diabetes and other sickness, She was just 36 years old, My heart is broken and don't know how I will go on, She has a daughter Miranda who is just 15 years, With the help of my Lord, Family and friends I hope to get through the next few days. We will then move to Tennessee for a period of time to keep Miranda in her school. Please prey for my family, I only had she and her brother and two beautiful granddaughters. I don't know when I will be back on to blog again so I thank you in advance for your prayers. Please, Please, tell your family how much you love them and enjoy every minute you have, Life changes in the blink of an eye.
Hugs,
Judy

Dear Judy,

I found your blog through Georgia of Grandma G's blog. I know you don't know me,but I read your post about the loss of your daughter and it broke my heart. I can't even begin to imagine the pain you must be feeling. I just want to say that I will pray for you and your family so that God gives you strength to get through this. I truly believe that your sweet daughter is with God and happy. And I also believe that you will see her again one day. Hang in there ,stay strong and know that others do care. I lost my sister to cancer 11 yrs. ago and it was difficult to say the least, but God will never ,ever give you more than you can bear.

Wishing you many blessings and may the sun shine again for you,

Judy - my heart feels your sadness as I just can't imagine losing a child, no matter what their age is. I will pray that God gives you the strength to do whatever you can to make the grand daughter feel secure and loved. That is your job now and I know you are up to the task. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers - never more than a keyboard away if you need to talk or cry. All of us are here for you - friends across the miles, but very close in thought.

Oh, Judy, my heart breaks for you and your family. It doesn't matter whether a child you lose is young in age or a young mother, it's always the hardest thing to go through. My son was 9 when we lost him to cystic fibrosis, and even though it's been over 30 years, there's not a day goes by but that he's in my thoughts and, of course, always in my heart. I recently attended the funeral of one of my neighbors, and in his sermon, the old country preacher said, "You know, we say things like, well we lost Mr. John this week, but you know what, if you know where something is, it's not lost is it! Amen? Well, don't you know, we haven't lost Mr. John. He's in Heaven with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!"
I pray for God's peace and strength to envelope you and your family. Myra

Dear Judy

I know how you are feeling & how difficult this time is for you now. I lost my daughter, KariAnn, 5 years ago, March 25th. It happened out of the blue - a small valve in her heart closed - nothing anyone was aware of it. My heart is still broken - she was only 29 & was married less then 2 years. She was my friend, my first child and to this day - I miss her more then I can express. There is no good advice I can give you except not to look at the big picture. You have to live day by day, hour by hour - minute to minute. Don't look to the future it hurts too much and becomes overwhelming. Take care of your Granddaughter and do what feels right to you. Cry when you need to and love those who comfort you & somehow you will find the strength to survive. Miranda needs you now & together you will make one another strong. Don't expect miracles your sorrow & mourning are things you have to live thru. The pain eventually lessens but the ache will always remain. I will keep you in my prayers knowing how badly you are feeling right now. I wish I had something magical to help you but I don't. Family & friends will help to get you thru - please let them help you in anyway they can. I know the people who love you want to help so let them. They are hurting also. They miss Stacey and they also love you. Let their love wrap around you like a blanket - it will help you heal as best you can.

Why these things happen I still don't know. I talk to my Angel everyday. I know Kari is with me & I will never let her go.

God Bless you & your Family. All my prayers will be for you. May God give you the strength to live each day & lighten your heart when the time is right.

With much love,
Liz

This is my first visit to your blog. I must say my heart was heavy as I read about the loss of your daughter. I remember my parent's grief over the sudden loss of their 30 yr. old son and my brother. They were devastated. Over the years and with much prayer those wounds were healed. I thank God for his mercy and grace. My prayers go up for you and your family during these difficult days ahead. "He" will heal your broken hearts too and there will be laughter in your home once again as you begin to share those precious memories.

My deepest
condolences,
Marie
